This proves what i've believed all along... a .380 will work just fine to stop an attack. It did in this case. Of course, a 9mm or a .45 would have been a little more efficient, but the collateral damage COULD have been worse.

    Eh, who knows?

According to the reporter authorities want to ban internet cafes because the are getting robbed.
What exactly are they calling an "internet cafe"?
I looks like a video poker room to me. :dunno:

Steve Caparotta with WAFB just commented on this video on their 9:00 news....

He said (and I'm paraphrasing a bit):
"Okay, I know I'm gonna get in some trouble here, but the problem I have with people who defend themselves 'in that way' is you have bullets flying around and someone could get hurt...."

Andre Moreau pointed out to him that it was a legal act, and that the shooter had a CHP. Caparotta then said something to the effect of 'or, you can just give the kids the little bit of money you have, and they go on their way.'

Hmmm. Sounds like Stevie has visited the VPC website recently, perhaps?

Replay in BR at 9:30 on their cable channel (16, I believe). :D

two points i would like to make:
    1. no charges will be filed against the so called "hero" as of yet. Wait till eric holder hears about this. the old man is white and the perps are not. there is obvious racism here. I think he could be charged with civil rights violations.
    2. If obama had a son, would he look like either of those two perps or both of them?

I watched it a couple times over night. Steve needs to give the weather and STFU about guns.

Yeah- I was a bit disappointed he chose to blurt that out.

He he implied that the armed citizen is a bigger threat to public safety than the criminal element themselves- something that we all know simply isn't true.

Gee, now where have we heard that arguement before.....?:doh::doh:

I may be going out on a limb here- but I'm guessing Steve isn't a shooter.

Apparently you pay money to get computer time, and it's mostly a cash business.
