Note: BS doesn't work on IE either.
What I've tried:
.Restarting browser
.restored to default advanced internet settings in internet properties
.I do not have 'internet download manager' (apparently it can cause this error)
.I've excluded BS's web address in firewall (and even turned off firewall to try)
.ran winsockfix
.ran ccleaner and cleaned registry
.deleted all cookies and browsing history & cache
.3rd party cookies enabled
.reset router (but my smartphone has no problem accessing site)
.I can ping 72.29.76.169 with 0% loss
.if I use 'https' it accesses site but says security certificate expired, but forcing through to website the frontpage is skeletonized or text formated not really html and unusable
Try rolling back to a restore point from the last good config. Try accessing it in safe mode with networking, that'll give you a better idea of where/when the problem is occurring.
I fixed it with "ComboFix," it's been a couple of months since i could access this and other websites. Every freaking web suggestion told me to put my clock/calendar to the correct time..."it already is you retarded internet!"
Well, it works now, so that's a thing. Small victories!
