Has anyone owned one of these guns? I've seen them mentioned on a few 1911 forums as top notch but I wasn't sure if there is a difference between the older guns and the ones being produced today.
On a sort of side note. Clark makes a replacement bushing for Ruger MkIII pistols that takes the OEM hammer bushing and removes the (annoying!) mag safety. This results in a smoother, less "sloppy" trigger and eliminates having to put the mags in and out to disassemble the gun. Mags also release free of the gun instead of sticking as some do, due to the mag safety. Great workmanship.
I have one of their 10/22s, a Meltdown .45, and a STC barrel on my S&W mod 41. They have worked on all of my 1911s over the years, and my revolvers. Great people to deal with and top notch quality.
Great products and great people. They built my PPC revolver several years ago. I have had the opportunity to shoot many of their guns (old and new) and have always been impressed with the quality.
