Bought this shiny piece of American steel from a retired police officer with the intention of it being a gateway into a revolver collection, but the romance just never took off. Serial lookup puts it at a 1972 production, and it's spent most of those 40+ years since in a holster riding on the hip of one our local finest. Typical police gun, carried a lot and shot little. The action is smooth as silk, the trigger is beautiful, and the timing is spot on. The exterior has some patina, showing some holster wear and very light scratches on the barrel and cylinder. I'm sure it could be polished up and prettied, but I liked the character it has so I'll leave that to the new owner.
1972 Colt Trooper MKIII 4" Nickel, will include the Bianchi paddle holster it spent most of its life in. No box or paperwork.
