This will be my first time renewing my CCW and I have a few questions. In the PDF file it states that a 5 year permit is $125. In reading the code in LAC 55:I:1307.D.1 for renewal, it states a 4 year permit is $100. Which one is it?

Do I send in a copy of my original CCW training cert as an acceptable proof of training or do I have to take the class over again?

Last question...This is a copy/paste from the checklist

"Two sets of fingerprints on an FBI Applicant Card. If your fingerprints have been
taken electronically by a sheriff’s office or local police department, you must submit
    two separate sets of fingerprints."

I had my fingerprints taken by the State Police for my initial application electronically. How do I go about getting these 2 sets so I can submit them?

Its very discouraging having to jump through all of these hoops to get this paperwork, photos, and notarized sigs together for a RENEWAL.
    Thanks for any help given.

The ONLY option is the 5-year permit now, 2 and 4 years are no longer options. You need take a renewal class (~4 hours). Fingerprints are not required for a renewal.

You do not need to turn in fingerprints on a renewal application

You do need to take a renewal course

If you turned in DD214/Divorce Decree/Arrest Records, and they have not changed, then you don't need to turn them in again. Answer questions correctly and write info on file.

You do have to turn in newly notarized forms.

Don't wait until the last minute to avoid a lapse in privileges.

They changed the law recently. Don't look at LAC 55:I:1307.D.1, this isn't the statute governing the statewide permit scheme.

    You're looking for LA R.S. 40:1379.3
