I just wanted to give this place a quick write up.

This is a family owned Italian restaurant, with some of the best food I have eaten in awhile. The Northshore is filling up With "chain" Restaurants Which May Be Good , But Nothing Like A home cooked meal.

Their food wasn't the absolute best in the world, but the family atmosphere and service easily made up for that.

They have live music so plan your meal accordingly. The restaurant is in a strip mall so it has that feel to it, but again the staff makes up for that.

The restaurant is 1809 n. Causeway blvd.

It is a quick drive from the southshore.

    The lasagna was pretty good.

I my wife had lasagna, I had a calzone, a friend had spaghetti.
We all had salads, everything was good.

The owner slammed tom Fitz Morris on youtube. I will try and get a link up.

They have GREAT pizza but service was a little on the "to be improved" end. We stopped going after two negative service issues. Food was good though.

Grilled chicken? Probably not really grilled. Just find it funny how many eating establishments use the word "grill" when there actually isn't one. I know, I'm being critical but I'm a big proponent of grilled anything and I'm very particular about my grilling. BTW....... I've had their lasagna.......it was ok at best. One if these days, these Italian restaurants are going to stop using ketchup as "red sauce".

I love having some Lasagna or pizza from Cosinos. They love using some meat and cheese instead of smothering it with red sauce. Damn....now I'm hungry...:eek3:
