I have done years of Turkey gun testing and fired hundreds of turkey rounds down range with a 60 pound recoil attached to each one...458 only has 58 pounds....So for the cryo test I thought I would use 2 3/4 in Winchester #4s. Just for no kicks from the bench. Plus two of the guns only had 2 3/4 inch chambers.

Trying to fool the cryo process again by using a Browning A-5 with a Hastings Wadlock custom barrel and a very tight Hastings .650 turkey choke. Nothing on the Browning was cryoed this time. Once again the range was cut to 20 yards to keep the shot on paper.

This time I was not pleased with the shell, more of a squirrel load than a premium turkey load but it would work. The Browning was not that impressive thowing what look like a normal full choke pattern with lots of gaps, just like the #8s in the first test.

The Remington was about 10% better, still maintaining a good core pattern with minimal gaps. I used a Remington none port
