This is a clycing trainer; basically you pop any regular old cycle into the frame and put the roller against the rear tier and you have an indoor bike. Basically lets you have an exercise bike that is also a real bike that can go places.
You adjust how much effort it takes to move the trainer by changing gears on your bike. The trainer itself is very quiet, one of the advantages of fluid trainers.
Great if you are a regular cyclist and don't want to get wet or deal with the heat in summer time.
