I dunno, but he supported Kerry/Edwards which IMO is just as bad.

I actually think he may have learned a lesson after so many people raised hell to him after he publicly came out for Kerry/Edwards that he learned to keep his mouth
shut when it comes to his political endorsements. If he did support Obama, I'm sure he was probably more discreet about it.

Also, the ATF issued some Leathermans to field personnel inscribed with "Always Think Forfeiture".

"Some of you have jumped to the conclusion that I am anti-military. I am not. I think some wars need to be fought. Some of you think I am anti Vietnam era veterans. I am not. I have never been in the military, but I lived in Vietnam for over two years (Aug. ’72 – April ’75). I am probably one of the few Americans of my generation to pay his own way to get there."

What the hell does that even mean??:rofl::confused:

I think it means that he went cause he wanted to, not cause the government sent him there.

However, I also feel its a SLAP IN THE FACE to any US soldier who fought in the Vietnam War.

    I agree.

I notice how he didn't say where in Vietnam he lived, either. ;)

It was still divided back then. Just sayin'.

At any rate, it smells of Lib.

EDIT: He says he fell in love with a Vietnamese chick and followed her there.....They returned to the US just before the fall of Saigon. Sounds like he was there legit....Heat stands corrected.:o:D

Ya know, I'll go a long way out of my way for a piece of tail, but..

That would be like saying I fell in love with this Iraqi girl and followed her there. That's just plain retarded.

Anyone who would do something along those lines clearly has issues.

Me neither. I wonder how he thought that was going to end up, anyway??

About the time he got there was about the time they started the gradual reduction of US forces there (if I'm not mistaken).....

What did she tell him? "If you really love me, you'll leave your mechanical engineering job in America and move with me to the doomed third world warzone I call home."

    "Adios, mama." :wavey:
