Did some shooting today

Took my suppressed SBR AR and my suppressed .22 out for some play time today. Got to meet Michael from MEJ Services who was there shooting along with another guy with his full auto H&K's. Michaels a really nice guy and I even got to shoot a couple of his toys. I had never even seen a SAW before, much less shoot one. Anyone in the Metarie/New Orleans area needing class 3 transfers should look him up. I'm still trying to figure out how to post a video from my phone. Another great day at the range with the added bonus of meeting some new people.

I wonder how a class 3 shoot would do down here? I could talk to all the right people if anyone is interested.? Maybe even light up the grill for lunch?

So anyone want to start organizing a class III day? Probably about a month or so away from getting some nice weather. Nice to see if anyone has a nice property to shoot on, or meet at a range like honey island that allows full auto.

There was a Class 3 shoot schedule a while back, but bad weather caused it to be postponed. Then Sherburne range was closed until repairs/upgrades were finished. Word is that the range is almost 100% GTG. Once that happens, I'm sure those that were organizing the shoot will get a date set up and in the near future.

Please be on my weekend off!!! I work every other weekend and I'm willing to drive within 2-3 hours of Nola. I can bring a full auto goodie!
