I have a vibration in my drive-line. suspect U-Joints or transmission.
Need recommendations on Mechanic/Shop with experience.

Take a pic of your tranny fluid and smell it. [ check the level , hot, idling in neutral]
does it look or smell burnt?

Wait, year is it ?

computer controlled trannys will shift/ act different if something is wrong [ even with the engine ]

Describe when the vibration happens. My U joint went out and it happened mostly when decelerating.

I would take a peek at the u joints since its easy/free to inspect for play.

Thanks for the replies. I was out of contact for bit.
Little or no vibration under deceleration. Vibration is worst when O.D. shifts in at the bottom of the OD range, 55- 65.
Almost no vibration at 70+.
Fluid is not bright red, but does not smell burnt.

I did lift the rear axle and the u joints seem to be tight with no excessive play.
