Does anyone local sell karate sparring gear

Does anyone local sell karate sparring gear? I'm tired of using the nasty stuff at the dojo that doesn't fit. I'd like to buy local so I can make sure it fits. Preferably NO or Northshore area, but I need to take a trip to Baton Rouge sometime soon anyway...

You try academy? I got my head gear and gloves there, not sure if they sell shin guards.

They switched to MMA gear instead of karate... I stopped at the one in Kenner yesterday.

I used the dojo gear tonight, big mistake. The shoes are too small for me, jammed the little toe. I don't think I broke it but its swollen... Probably have a nice bruise on my shin too!

Sizing is the problem. I have big feet (11 WWW ) and not sure if I order online if they will fit. Guess I'll have to try. You'd think somebody in the state would open a store selling karate gear and gi's!

Don't know the address, try White Tiger Martials Arts they are in Kenner on W. Esplande Ave. by Loyola across from the Walmart. They may be able to order it for you.
