I hope you had a fun Forth of July but it's time to shoot multi-gun again.

EAPS will be hosting a level 1 USPSA Multi-Gun match on July 10, 2016. There will be four stages that we will create on Saturday. As far as the round count, I guess 150 pistol, 100 rifle, and 50 shotgun birdshot. No slugs. We will have new steel so there will be shots to 300 yards this month. I just bought a bunch of mini IPSC targets so get ready for them as well. And lets not forget about my favorite.....NO SHOOTS

Setup will be on Saturday July 9 at 8am. Anyone who assist in the setup of the match will only pay $10 match fee.

Match registration will open online now and registration/payment will open on Sunday morning at 7:30AM. Match begins at 9am.

Match fee is $20 for EAPS members and $30 for non EAPS members. Please email me your registration information to eapsmail@gmail.com:

Also we will allow the Heavy Metal division this match. We have bought A500 steel.

It has been brought to my attention that at the last match there were several shooters who did not have chamber flags in their guns. If you are going to shoot multi gun you must have a chamber flag or some sort of high visible device that allows other shooters to visually see that your chamber is clear. See the USPSA rule below. A piece of paper or cigarette butt will not work. If you do not have a chamber safety flag, please get one before the next match. If you do not have one, you will not be allowed to shoot.

    Keith

5.2.3.2 Competitors must use a chamber safety flag, or clear chamber device, that is easily visible externally to the gun when transporting from vehicles or stage to stage. Anyone found in violation of this rule will be immediately escorted by a Range Officer to a suitable range or safety area where appropriate corrective action shall be made

    This is the second e-mail.

    Folks,

Keith just bought us new rifle steel. This doesn't mean it can take anything. You still cannot use steel core or penetrator ammo. Check you ammo with a magnet, if a bullet sticks to the magnet, you can't use it. If caught using it, you will be DQ'ed.
