I need to update my drivers license as I will be submitting my application for my CHP in less than a month. The address is wrong.

Left. I have been there. It's pretty quick and easy. I tried to pick up a gun once at Precision but couldn't because my address was old. Ran down there to update it and was back within the hour.

The fastest dmv in the WOLRD. No I'm just kidding, but the DMV in Lake Charles takes up to 2 hrs just to get a new ID. This place took me, no exaggeration, less than 5 minutes.

Isnt there some silly rule about the issue date on your DL when applying? Mine was fresh and I think I had to show extra proof like a copy of my college fee sheet (it showed the same address).

Yeah I found it on the LSP site. Using phone and cant copy/paste from pdf file. If the issue date on DL is less than 6 months old:

Passport, voter registration card or anything that establishes residency. Example given is a fee sheet from a college.

Agreed, completely blows away the stereotypes of the DMV. Fast and friendly. The main one on the other hand...

What is differnt between regular and express? I understand its faster, but why?

They only do certain things like printing licenses for address change, replacement and non testing renewals. No reinstatement stuff and maybe no tests given.

Its like the 12 items or less lane at its own location.

In the corner of the shopping center. I made it from Goodwood at Airline on a lunch break to the Siegen express, renewed my DL, took new Pic(required that time), paid and got back to work in 40 minutes round trip and had 15 minutes to eat my lunch and tell my story. Great job there. Oh, btw there were 4 peeps in line in front of me when I walked in. Be prepared and you will fly out of that place.
