The last couple of years we have had a fantasy football league for BS members only, and its been a lot of fun. Due to other obligations, or failure to actively manage their teams, some team owners won't be returning this year, so we have three slots available. No money involved, just for fun.

We are looking for guys that will actively manage their teams each week, regardless of win/loss record...If you want to join, shoot me a PM with your name and a valid e-mail address and I'll send you an invite. The first three to PM with a definite commitment to play will be in. The live-online draft is set for Monday, September 1, 4:00 CST, and there is an auto pick option that does a very good job if you can't make the live draft.

    GO!!!

Most states prohibit playing fantasy football for dollah dollah billz if the game involves more chance than skill. But a few states make play-for-cash games illegal when the outcome is based in any part on chance (even just a teency weency bit).

In these "any chance" states -- including Arizona, Arkansas, Louisiana, Iowa and Tennessee -- playing fantasy football for money may very well violate state gambling laws because it's impossible to completely eliminate the element of chance in a fantasy football game, reports Forbes.

you just have to turn the cash into a tangible property - a gift card for example. The smartest of league managers donate a percentage (10%) to a charity and buy a gift card for the winner with the rest.

have I proven that I'm a fantasy junkie yet? and fwiw, Jindal isn't coming after your fantasy football league for its 100.00 jackpot.

Well, we tried to do a cash league this year (check your e-mails from Bo Taylor), and not one other person sent in their money by the deadline, so......
