Looking to buy a rifle from a member here and he lives kind of far away. I've never shipped a firearm so i need an education. Do I send the money to the seller then get with an ffl to get it shipped? Where is the best/ cheapest place? How do i go about this?

Have it sent to Kevin at Precision Firearms. He's easy to deal with and charges $25. Send the seller the money, then he'll mail the gun to Kevin. The seller may want to see a copy of Kevin's FFL license. If so, Kevin will fax it to the seller. No problem. I've done it quite a few times.

Gene's Pawn on 44 @ Airline is $15. I've used them a few times. I have a hard and soft copy of their FFL or you can go in and get a copy.

Pay Seller, Send FFL to seller via Snail, Fax or E-mail
    Seller Ships Gun to FFL
Go to FFL when they get the gun in, fill out paperwork, background check, etc
    Walk out with gun.
