Didn't build mine, but wet tumbling results are spectacular.

Bayou52. What is your recipe? I use 2 45 cases of dawn and lemishine

    Hi, bayouboy81 -

I use a Thumlers high-speed model B. tumbler. My recipe is 1/4 TSP Lemi-Shine and a couple of ounces of auto wash & wax (Blue Coral from WallyWorld). I use the auto wash & wax instead of Dawn. I switched about a year ago. The wash & wax leaves a residual wax coating which prevents the return of tarnish to the brass. It cleans just as good as Dawn but no return of tarnish.

I wet tumble for 4 hours - that's the "sweet spot" for impeccably clean brass - inside, outside and ptimer pockets.

After tumbling, I "dry spin" the brass in the rotary media separator. No heaters, dryers, ovens, blowers, etc., are ever needed to dry the brass.

Not much. My dad had the tubing and got the motor free. But with everything else about $150
