Looks good. How long does it take to run a batch? What type of motor did you use? I'm fixing to put one together with a 3 or 5 gallon bucket.

Hi, bayouboy81 -

I use a Thumlers high-speed model B. tumbler. My recipe is 1/4 TSP Lemi-Shine and a couple of ounces of auto wash & wax (Blue Coral from WallyWorld). I use the auto wash & wax instead of Dawn. I switched about a year ago. The wash & wax leaves a residual wax coating which prevents the return of tarnish to the brass. It cleans just as good as Dawn but no return of tarnish.

I wet tumble for 4 hours - that's the "sweet spot" for impeccably clean brass - inside, outside and ptimer pockets.

After tumbling, I "dry spin" the brass in the rotary media separator. No heaters, dryers, ovens, blowers, etc., are ever needed to dry the brass.

5 pounds of stainless steel media alone is about $45 + shipping, so I guess thats not a bad price.
