G19 mags

Okay I just got a new gen 4 G19. I love the gun . I got 8 mags with it as trades and was fooling around with it this morning and noticed 2 of them are not drop free type. Throw them in trash or some other option?

If it isn't too late to retrieve them, you might mark the baseplates to make them easily identifiable.
Faulty mags are great tools for practicing failures.
Poo happens in real life, so incorporating things like mag failures to drop, or feed, is good practice. I keep all my crap mags for this reason, just mark em so they don't get mixed with the good mags.

Just a thought.

Thats what I did.. I am after all a weapons repairman. Also got 5 more 15rd mags coming from Botach and 2 33rd.

damn cujo beat me too it. they can always be used for range or running drills with snap caps and failures

Actually, I might have kept them for some stippling practice, or to just futz with and potentially try tweaks on. But I'm a packrat of that type of stuff by nature...
