Shot my first reloads (all 9mm) yesterday. I will say it's a success since the gun didn't blow up and all the bullets came out the barrel. Seemed to hit the target most times too, which is extra.

Anyway, I've started picking up any brass I see in decent shape. Will having cases with different # of shots make much of a difference (assuming I inspect them for problems)? I have the brass I used yesterday (now 2 shots) and other brass I've gathered. I'm not trying to be some accuracy freak - at least not yet, just another hobby to have. Just didn't know if I need to sort the brass by round count. Will the casing brand make much difference if they are mixed?

Any brands of tumblers that are better values or should be avoided?

    Thanks

Shoot it till you lose it or it cracks.

^This and add case/head separation which could be considered a crack, only nastier. When you find brass at the range, you can assume the shooter doesn't reload or knows someone who does or it was left there by a handloader that knows that was the 12th time the brass was reused and it was time to let it go.

I have brass that is older than some of you guys and been reloaded more times than I can count. I check it for cracks or signs of separation, and see if it needs trimming and keep going with it until I see signs of failure.
