Gifting A Gun Out Of State

I would like to give a gun to my daughter who is over 21 and lives out of state. She is an RN and is going to get her CCW. Is it necessary to do a transfer or would it be legal to loan it to her?

If you are shipping it to her, you need to do a transfer. If you gave it to her while she was a resident of Louisiana, and then she took it with her, that is okay. You can't loan it to her either way, unless it is for "sporting purposes".
