chance's are it's someone you know

This isnt the place to debate this, but I totally DISAGREE. I don't associate with people who themselves, or people THEY associate with would steal from me. I know EVERYONE in this neighborhood. They've all lived here a minimum of 15 years.

I'm a former law enforcement officer, and I've seen this type of thing many times. 2 clowns get together, 1 drops the other off at one end of the street and picks him and the loot up at the other end.

Second, mine was not the only vehicle hit. They hit my neighbors car and snagged a S&W Airweight 38 from it and some cell phone accessories from another vehicle a few houses down.

A neighbor actually saw the guy going from one house to the next and alerted the S.O. and they were in my neighborhood checking when I found my guns were missing.

The bastard who took my guns also took a Fluke multimeter from my truck, but I found it dropped down the street. Guess he was too stupid to know what it was or decided it wasn't worth carrying when he already had $1000 worth of my guns.

I know they have been hitting cars just outside Walker and the surrounding areas. I live in between Walker and Livingston, they hit my neighbor behind me for a GPS and my next door neighbor for some tools. Guess they saw the sign in my yard protected by S&W and decided to move on.

    Lucky for them they did.

Was your vehicle locked? How did they get into your vehicle?

The vehicles that were hit in Walker recently were all unlocked. The BG's did not make noise by trying to break into the vehicles that were locked.

When I leave my vehicle in the driveway parked during daylight hours I lock it. Night parking is only in a secure garage where my German Shepard sleeps. My personal opinion is leaving a vehicle with firearms in it unlocked, even in your drive way, is irresponsible. I hope your weapons are found.

Lately they have been breaking in cars all over LP. Have you been able to find out if they are in the NCIC yet?

Good luck I hope you get them back.
