I got the Pelican case in a trade. It was yellow so
I camo painted it. It carries a tricked out Glock 17 gen4 in it
Added a ghost trigger, Burris fast fire, cocker, mag well and a bunch of
mags. Makes a nice go box.
Super accurate and fun to shot!
    Love some Glock!
    :)

Pretty much. The foam refill I got for my box also had easy pre torn squares in it.
    Nice box Toork!

I just used left over foam from the box my tavor was packed in and an old aluminum box. Just for giggles. If I were to do it again, I'd order some pelican pick and pluck replacement foam from Amazon and use a water proof box.

I have a friend with a larger box like yours with cutouts for a G27, G23, G22, G35 and a G42 in the top layer of foam. Two folding rifles are on the bottom layer. He is going to take a thin sheet of aluminum and attach handles so he can remove the 5 pistols at once and access the 2 rifles.

A piece of foam on the bottom cut out for the rifles.
A thin piece of foam on top of the rifles.
A thin piece of aluminum with short handles next.
A piece of foam on top of the aluminum cut out for the 5 pistols.
Open the box and access the 5 pistols or lift all the pistols at once by lifting the aluminum and access the 2 rifles.

I have a pelican case I keep my m10 in. But for my pistols I find the "soft case" that my usp tacticals and fnp tacticals came in are sufficient for grab and go. It fits the gun, 2-3 mags, suppressor, and a pouch for supplies. Also I have a 2 gun pistol bag with ~8-10 magazine spots and an outer zippered pocket for other things that works well too. I wouldn't mind a trunk of some sort that I could neatly store all my pistols and rifles in, for an evacuation event.
