I really enjoyed this movie. Our church youth group went last Friday and the kids (50+) enjoyed it as well. Willie and Korie Robertson have a small cameo in the movie. Movie was filmed in Louisiana.

The producers of Noah admit to some dramatic license. I'm still gunna go see it but i'm sure the book is better anyway.

Can't wait to see Noah and Heaven is For Real - the book was amazing.

Without getting on a religious tangent, I'm very pleased to see Hollywood promoting Christianity and saying to heck with the critics.

I'm not really sure how that applies here.

God is not Dead wasn't produced by Hollywood,
and The producer of the movie *Noah,* a self-professed atheist,
says he is proud of the fact that he’s taken a story inspired by God’s word
and turned it into something so secular.

He said this b/c the story told in the Movie,
is not even close to the written history of the story itself.

    :dunno:

its okay to make a thousand horror flicks a year depicting satan, or imaginary demons, or "orcs" and "wizards", but don't make one about Jesus.

ah heck I'm not diving into this. I'm just not. you guys know where im headed.

Grace Unplugged was a very well made Christian movie too. Our congregation just watched it last weekend.

I know what you are trying to say, Wabbit. The overall quality is getting exponentially better and we are starting to see more "real" Hollywood actors in them. It's not the career killer for them that it was 5 years ago. I think producers are realizing there is money to be made on us.

I agree. The United States as a whole get either angry or afraid when Jesus' name is mentioned. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord, but I guess if we didn't, we would be angry and afraid, as well. I'm truly glad to see a few new faith based movies.
