Good morning.

I live in Hammond, shoot as often as I can and discovered this site while doing a Google search of LA knife laws. Switchblades in particular.

What I found the most interesting was it is illegal to possess, carry, etc a "switchblade knife" yet they can be purchased almost everywhere. I have several I have purchased over the years. Go figure.

Yeah I don't get them being illegal yet available everywhere either. It's a stupid law to begin with though.

Welcome from a little ways away. It's a stupid, unconstitutional law. But, you have to see what happens. We got a new bill being worked in that would give us some of the strongest pro-gun law anywhere.

Welcome. And as a fellow knife lover, I agree. Protech makes so absoluetely georgeous blades that are illegal to even collect. But I can carry a gun lol. Maybe if enough of us contact our reps/sens, we could get it changed?
