Want to take my son on his first fishing outing. I don't want to lose his attention going to a cold spot. Any good, productive brim fishing holes you guys can recommend in Baton Rouge, Greenwell springs, Central that would keep him entertained?

The Rama exit off 12 just before the bridge. There is a little bait shop to pick up whatever you need. Then just dive next to levee back towards sherborne and pick a spot.

Thanks. I'm thinking more along the lines of a pond or bayou in EBR parish. I'm know of a few but I'm just interested in seeing if anyone knows a "sure" thing hole so I can keep the boy interested.
