Correct. And not surprising at all. IIRC they also removed firearms from their "Shopping" search results.

Personally I could care less, I don't pay attention to ads anyway. Let's just hope it stops there though, considering Google pretty much owns the entire interweb.

Exactly correct. This is only for the "Targeted Ads"

It has nothing to do with search results.

Anyway...I use adblocker because I find them annoying....so I wouldn't notice the policy change.

I'm just too lazy to change my email address and I hate iPhone and Windows phones. Hopefully it stops there or I might just have to settle for something else.

They removed ammo from google shopping a while back and now paid ads are going by by.
