    SCROLL DOWN FOR PICS

Sorry to be such a tease and yes I know this thread is worthless without pics, but the goods aren't here yet...sorry :hs:

Here is the breakdown for the frankengun:

    BCM 16" M4 Government Profile
    BCM M16 F/A BCG w/ Charging Handle
    M4 Handguards
Troy Industries Flip-Up Rear Battle Sight
Stag complete lower w/ collapsible stock

    10 PMags
    Magpul Winter Trigger Guard
    Ergo Suregrip
    1000rds Barnaul 62gr .223

That is all for now, but an Aimpoint ML3 is coming in the future. Hopefully everything will be here no later than next week, just in time for another run out to the BZ. :D

EDIT: Scrathed the Aimpoint for now, I got too good of a deal on an Eotech 516.A65 to pass it up.

In an effort to condense the thread a little bit, here are a few progression shots.

    How she started:

Sweet, just got my first AR lower today! Yours sounds like it will be a sweet build.

And the trigger guard and grip are SUPER easy to install. All you need is a small punch and hammer, and screwdriver. I replaced my buttstock, grip and TG within 30 minutes of getting my lower. I can see how this gets expensive and addicting. :o

Thanks, I'm pretty stoked about it. I had just about gotten my RRA Entry Tactical to where I wanted it and somethings suddenly came up and I had to sell everything. The trigger guard and grip are the only 2 things I've never had to mess with. Got tons of screwdrivers, but my punches are in TN...:hahano:

I don't know why the upper looks purple in the pics, the finish is very close between the two halves.

anybody know of a good place to get a stock wrench and a pivot pin detent tool? I'm thinking of just using the old tape and plyers trick, but a stock wrench sure would be nice.

If it's new, I'm not too sure why it's purple looking. If it's used, I would guess that heat caused the color change.

    Nice rig man :)

It was new, but I'm pretty sure it was a combination of the anodization and horrible lighting. If you look the Eotech and the trigger guard have the same purple hugh.

Thanks for the compliments, she shoots just as well as she looks.

I've got a Del-Ton 20" kit on the way for the EA lower i'm gettin from Bill. It may be a few weeks before I get her together though.

I got a stock wrench you can borrow, I'm in New Orleans every weekday.

    PM me if interested.

I decided to go with an A2 stock, so i no longer need the wrench. Thanks though.

You wouldn't happen to have a pivot pin detent tool on hand would ya?

BCM makes top quality gear. I have an unfired BCM 16" mid-lth upper that may be for sale soon.

You could probably get what you paid and them some. BCM is pretty much sold out everywhere, and there are some people willing to pay top dollar to not have to wait. In about a month, I'll be back to working full-time and might just be looking to take it off your hands if it's still available (if you even decided to sell). I will not pay more than $2.38 for it though...:squint:
