Guy Looking to Learn to Shoot

I am in Lafayette. There is an older gentleman in my judo class that said today that he would like to learn to shoot. I am not sure if he ever shot a gun before in his life. I was wondering if anyone would want to teach him the basics and get him some good habits. I am sure he would happily compensate you for time and ammo. I would offer to teach him but I just don't have the time. If any of you CCW teachers want to teach a basic firearm session let me know and I will pass on info to him.

mtcur3's offer sounds good. But if he can't travel, the RO's at IPSO would be happy to shown him the basics on Wednesday afternoons from 1200-1600 when the range is open to the public. Ask for Ed or Vern. If he let's me know ahead of time I'll bring a 22 pistol and ammo.
