H&K USP question

I have a H&K USP .40 full size and would like to change the trigger style to the "LEM", I have the variant 1 style.
I read, the pistol has to been returned to H&K, to have this change done . Should I go through a dealer or can I ship directly to them (UPS). I attempted to email H&K USA but had a problem with their email address. I qualified today and thought the LEM style would work better for me, in my old age .

You can do the change yourself, or have a smith do the change for you. It will take a couple of hours if it is your first time; you'll just need some patience. When I made the change to my HK45C, I followed the instructions for the USP that are found below.

It's really easy. Use the online guides. The only detail to watch for: Make sure your cocking piece spring rest on the correct surfaces. This is a dirty P30, but it's a nearly identical system.
