I was given this 50 cal a few years back and am planning to use it in a few weeks finally. After a dozen stores in BR finally found some #11 caps at Cabela's but but they seem to fit loose on the nipple? Shouldn't they be tight? could it be is should be 209 primers possibly? I do not have any paperwork on it. I am planning to search for starting load using pyrodex and simple round ball ammo. Any one got one of these to provide information ? Could it be I should have even got 10 caps but that may be even harder to find.
