Does anyone have any updates on HB279. It is the bill that would require CLEO's to sign Form 4s for their constituents.

That rule change the ATF proposed is still lurking out there...

Also why does it only mention form 4s and not form 1s?

It was passed in committee and went up for a vote. It was voted down by the house - only missing two votes. The reps who voted nay claimed that Gov. Jindal was going to veto it anyway because it wasn't notarized in blue ink as outlined in the Louisiana Congressional House Mandate and Stationary statute. My understanding is that the Senate has a similar bill that will require CLEO to do the chicken dance before every morning safety meeting and the House will have to amend it once it arrives.

Do you know when this was done?
The last action I see is "Referred to Committee" on March 10.
