Try mathway. I believe you have to pay for it but all of my kids have used it.

I don't mind helping if you want. I've tutored quite a few people over the past years on algebra and a few other college math-type classes. Khan-Academy is good for learning how to do it by the way.

I'm with Austin. Post up. I should be able to solve it if he doesn't beat me to it.

    Wolfram alpha

    This ^^ Great site

    Here's a math problem:

    1/3 = 0.333 repeating
    2/3 = .666 repeating

    Both numbers never end.

Add them and you get 0.9999 repeating as x approaches infinity.

    Yet 1/3 + 2/3 = 3/3

    So 3/3 = .999999999999 to infinity

    Bam.

    Wolfram alpha

Wolfram Alpha is #1. It was initially $50 when it launched and it has been worth every bit.

Another app useful for devices with a camera is PhotoMath.

Just focus your camera on the math problem and it will give you step by step processes to solve. And it does give the answer.

    Good luck.
