The 264 Winchester Magnum is an old favorite but since 1959 this rifle and other super speed rifles over 3000 feet per secound have suffered throat errosion and burt up barrels in as little as 500 rounds. Just too much heat. I know now the 30-378 Weatherby Magnum would not be in exsistence if not for a cryogenic treatement.
If you have a 270 Winchester on up that is not a new modle Weatherby as they are already cryoed it would be in your best intrest to have David treat your rifle. My 325 WSM and Styer Manlicher 270 are going in the Freezer at the end of the season.
If you have a rifle that says WSM or Ultra Mag or STW better get it treated if you like an accurate rifle...Pass it on.
