Yea. These two obviously were a huge threat to officer safety. Especially the lady with the broken foot on crutches. A little common sense will go a long way in such situations.

Yes, it was careless to permit the female suspect to keep those crutches. Those weapons gave her the reach on the officers. She could have spun around on one foot and swung those crutches to deadly effect.

You really want me to start digging up links for all the instances this has happened? There are PLENTY of documented cases out there. Too many to be coincidental.

Please do. I want to see the ratio of complaints vs tapes disappearing. Please get it from a reputable source and post it here.

Tax exempt in what capacity? As in they don't pay income tax? I don't know and don't care as that was not the point. The point I was trying to make is that when the PD gets sued for violating someone's rights, whether through incompetence or vigilance, their mistake will always be covered by taxpayer dollar. My argument is not original (to you) because you don't like being reminded of it.

ETA: You must be a cop. I can smell the moustache through the screen.

Oh well, that's life. Do you really want me to dig up how much ******** stuff your tax dollars pay for?

    So according to Motor51,

If you are a LEO you know everything.
If you are "other than LEO", you know nothing.

    Okay I got it.

Now I can't think of anything else to comment so I'm just going to post a Blueberry pancake recipe.

    1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    1 1/4 teaspoons white sugar
    1 egg
    1 cup milk
    1/2 tablespoon butter, melted
    1/2 cup frozen blueberries, thawed

    1. In a large bowl, sift together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar. In a small bowl, beat together egg and milk. Stir milk and egg into flour mixture. Mix in the butter and fold in the blueberries. Set aside for 1 hour.

    2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve.

    Enjoy

I understand elderly people can kill. However, there were multiple guns on them. The couple showed no sign of resistance or evasion. I am not a trained police officer. Like I said a little common sense.
