Rem oil is just mineral oil with some additives in it that don't do anything. It's far too thin for proper firearms lubrication and doesn't do a good job in preventing corrosion. However I'd be surprised if it did anything at all to the polymer.
I've found no better one stop reference for explaining gun lubrication any where else. You'd be far better of with fresh engine oil than rem oil on that fine piece of deutscher Stahl. (german steel)
