What is best cleaner for all the "polymer" parts ? Will rem oil wipes hurt it?

Rem oil is just mineral oil with some additives in it that don't do anything. It's far too thin for proper firearms lubrication and doesn't do a good job in preventing corrosion. However I'd be surprised if it did anything at all to the polymer.

It might be good for lubing your Singer... sewing machine

Nope I have sewing machine oil. It's branded Singer too. It's a FAR better product than Rem oil for guns.

Well it does run like a sewing machine and is a nice piece. My son was just curious, He doesn't want to hurt it, since its his "baby" at this time.

I've found no better one stop reference for explaining gun lubrication any where else. You'd be far better of with fresh engine oil than rem oil on that fine piece of deutscher Stahl. (german steel)
