Ok so next question...im in ponchatoula I go to honey island every other weekend or so to shoot...now where can I go besides nicks in garyville ???

And I know about tallo creek in goodbee I just refuse to go there cause ive had bad experiences and he wont let you shoot fmj.

The road was just re-paved within the past 2 years. Seems like they would have seen that problem then and fixed it. The flooding from Ike last year may have caused the problem afterwards though. Hopefully it's fixed soon.

That sucks. Hope they get the road fixed and open by the time the cooler weather moves in. I was going to visit there this weekend but noticed this post Thursday. Glad I did. Bummer though, with the overcast on this side of the lake this weekend the temps weren't all that bad. Ended up cutting grass instead of shooting brass.

Got an email this evening that range may be open this weekend. DOTD expects to have road repairs finished Thursday. Should have definite answer Thursday evening.
