Our hours will be:
Fridays - 11 till 4, Saturdays and Sundays - 8 till 4

We have always been open on Fridays (for as far back as I can remember).

Fishing/hunting license or wildlife stamp. Costs around $5 and you can purchase online @ the LA Wildlife and Fisheries site. You don't "need" it to enter Honey Island, but if LDWF catches you out there without one it's a HEFTY fine. Other that just bring your goodies (unloaded and actions open) and $6 to shoot!

Where is Honey Island? I havent lived in Louisiana long and dont know where everything is

I have a $2.50 hook and line fishing license and that's pretty much the cheapest one you can get to be on the WMA property. I think the only one cheaper is a $2.00 single day wild louisiana stamp but the hook and line license is good for the whole year.

Went out there today with my son and his new 7mm-08 and his Mosin Nagant. Great time, thank goodness for those burn barrels.

Yes, they will be open the whole weekend.
