How many magazines per gun?

With the current craze in gun / ammo / magazine buying I was wondering, excluding hoarding, or investing in resale, how many magazines per gun do you think is enough? You can divide it out different for hand gun vs rifle if you want.

For me I think 3-4 is generally enough, but no less than 2.

I like a minimum of 10 per pistol.

I have 3 for my carry, but had 11 for my AR. I think it greatly depends on the method of use. For the average gun owner whose gun sits in the safe 99% of the time, they wouldn't see the benefit of having 10 mags for it.

I have 5 for the handgun. I settled at 6 for the AR15 since that's what my carry bag allowed for. However, given the times, I am going to order a few more if I can get ahold of any.

For my little concealed carry pistols I only have 3 or 4. For a Glock or Sig, I'd have 6. Probably 10 or so for an AR.
