I've been riding and racing since I had my first job. Guns and bikes go hand and hand!

Here's me @ NOLA motorsports park during a WERA race last June.

I rode an 03 for almost 6 years. Still one of the best looking bikes on the road. I finally parted it out at 97k miles. Never once touched the motor besides standard preventative maintenance. That bike was still getting 35-40mpg even with nearly 100k miles on it.

Wow! 97K? That's insane! Only thing I've done is K&N air filter. Everything else is stock. Just got it off my boss last spring with 8000 on it. He was at least an inch away from chicken strips. I love this bike, quick, light, and corners great. Got it for a steal too.

Some of the first things to go were the seat and clip-on's. I rode it back and fourth to Hammond 5 days a week. I averaged 25k miles a year on it for 3 solid years. Went on lots of 1,000 mile weekend trips. Rode the dragon probably half a dozen times. It hardly even looked like a 636 by the time I was done with it. There use to be a guy around town with one of the v twin Honda sport bikes with over 150,000 on a stock bike.

It's been almost 2 1/2 years since my R1200GS was totaled in Colorado. Going pick this beauty up next month. I had the same year (2001 in Blue) twelve years ago and can't wait to hear it fire up!

2001 Suzuki TL1000S for those that aren't familiar with the big twin sportbikes.
