I dipped for over 14 years and the past 5 years I kept a dip all day long. I had ran out of my regular and bought grizzly wintergreen and after two weeks I couldn't stand putting a dip in because my lip burned like hell and that's when I decided it was time I stop letting it control me. The most difficult part was wanting to quit, before I loved it too much to give up. Once I had it in my mind it was much easier to stop. The 28th was three months tobacco free.

My step-dad has dipped since he was a teenager. Even though he takes extremely good care of his teeth, they are very weak. He is a strong guy of cajun decent, but last year one punch from a disgruntled employee knocked four teeth out. Even if you are lucky enough to not get cancer, gum disease will happen. I've been smoking for 14 years now, so I feel your pain. I really need to quit, been cutting back. I'm down to 4-5 cigs a day and am already feeling better.

i bought an e-cig. it does not taste or feel like much but i do not need a dip when i smoke it. im gonna look for better ones. any suggestions?

When you smoke or dip you are ingesting radioactive particles. That is where the cancer comes from.
