I actually saw that the other day. However, I ordered a 3 pack of Anderson non logo lowers a week or so before I saw that deal for $180 shipped. Just waiting for my FFL to call so I can go pick them up. Should be any day now.
I was told by a wise man once, * you can only have too much ammo if you are swimming or on fire*.
Lastly.... I really hate all the "lost my guns in a boating accident" stuff. I get it, but if I have to hide my guns what good are they? Instead of hiding I have joined FPC, set up monthly donations, and am contacting at least one of my US Senators or Rep once weekly. That's the plan for the next two years. We all need to get on this IMHO.
I think the answer is different for everyone. I shoot for the moon, deal with storage issues best I can and generally don’t divulge such info to people as a general rule. How much ammo is enough to keep on hand?
1K for an AR?
1K for an AK?
Pistol?
Bolt gun?
No mans tombstone ever read, He died because he had to much ammo.
What do you think?

If you want a good guideline, consider your guns one by one and pretend there will come a day when you won’t be able to procure any more ammo for each one. Then figure out how many rounds you’ll want to have for that gun to last you the rest of your life and add a good day’s shooting to that and you’ll have your number.
Well,How about 5K of 22 lr,
Would that be too much?
I don't think so...Otherwise I have WAY too much.
I went to the range Tuesday . One of my friends also came . He and I worked together and are both retired . We had the place to ourselves and spent more time talking than shooting . I went through one and a half boxes of 9mm and about 150 rds of .22 all total . We had a great day . It's not all about burning through hundreds of rounds of ammo . Enjoy yourself and don't let the bastards wear you down .
My local range is charging $5 per hour just to watch the people with extra ammo shoot. I asked if they could set up a livestream so I could watch from home.
All boating accidents must be reported to LDWF within five days . Just saying ....
