when nuking hogs you'd likely get casualties of animals that deserve to live, like deer. now, if we could get them all together in Alamogordo, NM somehow....

just imagine it. with the push of a button the entire city smells like sunday-morning breakfast and hogs are instantly at the top of the endangered species list.

Maybe we could scale it down a little. I'm thinking drones and call of duty styled AC130 gunships (just lay down tons of fire in the direction of hogs - no need for actual aiming). I agree that Apaches would be a good option as well.

Louisiana law you can't shoot animals from a Helicopter with anything but a shotgun. Believe me I have tried, and planned on putting my suppressed 1919 on a mount and flying around in my buddies Heli.

we'd have to do it in texas. youtube is full of videos if you guys want to see this in action.

    Apache hog hunts.

I'd pay handsomely just to ride along with my Go Pro

I believe that's legal in Texas, and you can actually charter a helicopter hog hunting experience... I want to say it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 2800 bucks to charter it... Forgot the details, but it's on my bucket list

Going after hogs with an M134 on the back of a truck or on the side of a helicopter sounds like something everyone should experience

This sounds like a law that needs to be repealed. It's clearly limiting economic growth on an ever growing hog population.

Have you ever shot a machine gun? I shot a deer last year with a f/a m11/9 with a lage upper to slow it down. A 2 round burst from 35 yards in the boiler room and the deer didn't make it 20 yards. Just because you don't you don't understand it doesn't make it bad.

If you can put your rounds in the sweet spot, then I have no problem.

Mowing down a pack of pigs for entertainment is something thing different. Shots should count.

Wait until you've got 30-40 hogs tearing up your back yard!

Pest control isn't the same thing as wantonly wounding animals for fun. Make the shots count and I see no problem.

You make it sound like blood lust is a bad thing... Thanks guys that's what I thought but someone was trying to convince me otherwise.

Killing for entertainment isn't a good thing.
