I have another pond in the back of the property for the cows to drink from, they can tear that bank up as long as they keep their hooves out of my fishing pond.

The spray rig is for fence lines and ditch bottoms.

Two problems with roundup. Not approved for use to the water's edge. While that does not bother me for ditch use, I am not risking the fish that I have stocked and feed. The main reason not to use grass/weed killer is the erosion that will happen when there is no grass left on the bank.

The govt sprayed the bayouside behind my business two months ago and we immediately began to find dead turtles. The death and stink lasted for three weeks. Turtles, frogs and some small mammals... My cat chewed on some grass and almost died!

In addition, my property has been eroding away because of that crap. I keep the bayouside up pretty nice but they spray anyway!

Definitely, but in my line of work, it is needed. The majority of the square tubing is 2x2x3/16" ASTM A500 grB structural tubing. I did not want to worry about deflection of the boom. I am thinking about adding a break away pivot point in the middle of the boom in case it strikes an immovable object.
