I am ashamed of the entire republican party, no sense being ashamed of the democratic party since they have taken up the communist platform the last 100 years. The problem we have now is not the "left" in power. The problem we have now are that politicians try to do things they do not have the power to do. We should never even discuss the goverment providing healthcare, they simply do not have the authority to do it, butcthe republicans will go along with it, maybe not the dem's plan, but they will agree that they do have the power to install a goverment program to control healthcare and it will be another dagger in the constitution of the great country our founding fathers envisioned.

You are soooo right. Just look at all the government programs that are in trouble: Medicare, Social Security, the US Postal Service- just to name a few. Who in there right mind believe the GOV'T can "provide" anything to anyone without TAKING from someone else???? Only a Marxist (or the millions of good-for-nothings out there that do not work for what they have) would favor the plan he has in mind.
Does anyone believe the Founding Fathers intended for "public servants" to get elected, go to Washington, and become career politicians/millionaires?
I for one don't believe they did.....

While I think the outburst was totally disrespectful to the Office of the POTUS, I totally agree it was warranted.

IMHO, it could be argued that BHO himself is being disrespectful to the Office of the POTUS by showing blatant disregard- if not downright repugnance- towards the Constitution.

Of course McCain objects, that prick wants to give all illegals citizenship. The one good thing right now is unemployment is so high that illegals are returning home.

That "outburst" shows no more disrespect for the office of president than the "president" shows disrespect for the Constitution or the American way of life. Only thing is that now the liberals and communists, per the liberal 'bama media, are rallying around this made up "cause" to push harder for socialist programs.

You just had to know going in that Obama would use a heavy dosage of Dead Ted in hopes of "swaying" public opinion. That BS may have worked in Boston, but in Middle America?? Make me laugh.:rofl::rofl:

There's does come a point where you disregard the formalities owed to our highest of offices, but we aren't there yet. I think short of outright armed insurrection, we should always show respect to that Office. It's like that guy in Band of Brothers said, "We salute the rank, not the man."

I love that line and agree with it, but even in the hallowed halls of our government we are dealing with humans and with that, emotions. I feel he did what he FELT was right, I also FEEL he shouldnt have opologized for it.

    LOL!!

You Anti-President conservative revolution guys crack me up. You sit on Bayoushooter and LouisianaSportsman and cry and whine about how liberals are after your guns, ammo, and whatever nonsense you all hear on Hannity or Walton and Johnson; yet you are not willing to actually do anything about it. Im an independent now;however, when I was in college I was a part of the Louisiana Democratic party who worked tirelessly to bring a liberal movement back to power. I dont see any of you revolution guys knocking on people's doors, holding voter registrations, having town hall meetings or any of that. You all are just content with ranting and raving under the anonimity of your screename because it makes you feel like part of something.

That outburst was totally disrespectful. Bottom line!!! And now rightfully so, that guys political career is over after this term. I applaud John McCain for standing up and speaking out on that heckler. You all are so "disappointed' in him now, but thought he was the next greatest thing when he ran for president!!! LOL!!!Im all for freedom of speech, but there is a time and a place for everything and that wasn't it. You all are quick to jump of the conservative bandwagon that supports that wacko heckler, but none of you have the nuts to go to your supervisors at your jobs where you make your living and take care of your families and disrespect your boss like that. That was a stupid move and a total disrespect to the President of the United States. My President and your President too (unless you are an illegal immigrant).

You all cant blame anyone but the entire Republican party for the liberal uprising, b/c you all let your Senators and republican leaders vote for follow Bush's radical agendas that has America's dominance diminishing, has our kids Social Security wiped out, and has our great country in more debt that we can handle. Barack Obama didn't create debt alone, conservative did the most damage!! So if you guys dont want another Obama term, get with your conservative friends and have rallies and voice your opinions openly. If not Obama will easily win another term!

Regardless of some peoples opinions, you do kind of have to admire Congressman Wilson. At least he had the guts to call the President a liar TO HIS FACE. And in front of the whole country too. Our current president brings political disingenuity to much higher level than I have ever witnessed on the national level. Only Bill Clinton and Nixon were in his league. At least Mr Wilson didn't wait till after the address and run to the nearest news camera and state his opinion. Of course, he'd probably have to shove Chuckie Schumer out of the way to get some airtime!

    "I'm an Independent now, but..."...:rofl::rofl::rofl:
Hey guys- LA Cowboy is back!!!!:rofl::rofl:

No offense, part 1, but you sound about as "independent" as Keith Olbermann. Perhaps domewhere nestled between Hugo Chavez & Che' himself... Tell me, are you on your way to a 9/11 conspiracy protest now, or will you be going on your lunch break?

No offense, part 2: Would you be willing to let us in on exactly when you were in college "working tirelessly" to bring the liberal movement back to Louisiana? In case you haven't noticed, the liberal movement in LA is currently on life support, and come the next round of elections may very well indeed be taken off. But that's only because of the ignorance of conservative cavemen like us, right?:rofl:

It amazes me how you can come in and lecture everyone here on how they "don't do anything about it"....That's a laugh.
If you're serious (and I highly doubt you are), hang around a bit more and see how wrong you are- if you can stomach it (which, again, I highly doubt).

We've all been deceived, lied to by ALL of the elected officials. Now, they are doing their final push to take over Americans once and for all.

But first, they need to disarm us, over 70 million of us.

    craymo2,
Just curious, but did you by chance voice your outrage when Alec Baldwin publicy called for your then president to be killed by stoning?? I'm fairly confident that your sensibilities were offended by that disrepectful call to action by Mr. Baldwin. Must have been a shock coming from such a fine, upstanding, father of the year type.
