Im looking to put a scope on my Remington 700 Varmit 6mm. Im looking to spend up to $1500 and I'll be mostly punching paper up to 600 yards. It'll shoot .25 - .50 moa at 100 yds with handloads. I've heard the "return to zero" is a great feature. Someone steer me in the right direction please! I've been a lifelong Leupold fan because of the quality and the customer service, but I'm willing to try something else. Looking for 6x18 to 8x25. I'm unsure of the other warranties. Thanks

Good scope. Single turn turret with a zero stop. you should be able to get 16 MOA out of the turret. I would roll the plex reticle. The rapid z is a hunting reticle and really doesn't subtend to any constant scale so I don't see how it could benefit a paper shooter. The 6.5-20 Vortex PST is worth a look FFP/SFP options with MIL/MIL OR MOA/MOA configurations. Burris has their XTRII's coming out that look really nice.
