    Now days it's basically shoot what you can find, so when I found Monarch 9mm FMJ at Academy for $11.00 +tax it was hard not to buy more, but like you, I have never used it before. It has the coating that seems to be a little thick, so I was concerned how it would run through the gun. I ran through 150 rounds at the range with no issues other than it seem to get the gun a little dirty compared to other ammo I normally use like Federal, Magtech, CCI Brass. I would rather use the fore mentioned ammo, but if this is all you can find I think it's worth a try. You can always clean the gun after you have fun shooting.

    Take note that I once shot 45acp out of my glock 30 and notice that the bullet tumbled and key holed a target just about every round round. And no I didn't limp wrist it.
