Is this a good deal??

Looking for a 308 AR and came across a used DPMS 20" rifle with FF hand guard A2 style stock and removable carry handle and front site for $999.00. What do you guys think? I have not tried to negotiate for a better price yet.

Not a bad deal...but not a good deal. I think they're under $1000 new these days. And the sights shouldn't really affect the price that much.

Thanks, looks like I need to shop around. We just don't have many shops around here that deal in Black Guns.
