Most of the roads around Lafayette area are slowly being shut down. If anyone has to get out in this mess please be very careful & you need to really watch out for the other guy.

Went out to the car at 6:30 and took me almost 20 minutes to get all the ice off. When I finally got to work the boss just sent me back home because he was afraid I'd be trapped at work overnight with all the road closures.

As nasty as this weather is though I've driven through MUCH worse in other states.

We got a few flurries earlier yesterday, but just cold up here today, so they had to go to school.

Washington parish schools closed. Some snow on the ground. Enough on the trucks for a few good snow balls. Were all stuck inside with the flu. kinda sucks!

Got plenty of snow here four inches everything cover. I am sitting here laughing listening to wife bitch about the snow. The dogs love and I had them out this morning and watched run around playing in it.

If it is because I used my cell phone to take a picture I was stopped both times. One due to the bridge being de-iced ahead and a red light on the other photo.
