But them darned things are SO expensive. So I decided today to order a MechTech conversion unit. Guy at MechTech swears it will work with my Dan Wesson Razorback pistol.

They work well. I had one in 45 ACP. Just make sure you have a full power main spring. My pistol had a reduced power main spring (for trigger job) and it would not set off the primers probably 50% of the time.

Haven't played with one of those for a few years ago and they are really pretty good machines. I think you'll enjoy it.

With all the pistol caliber carbines that have hit the market in recent years, I've wondered why firearms companies seem to ignore the 10 mag. I've shot a Beretta CX 4 in .45 and loved it. They also make them in 9mm and (I believe) .40 S&W, but no 10 mag
    AR 9mm parts abound....no 10 mag
There are so many different brands in the other 3 pistol calibers that I can't keep track. I think they're missing the boat.

So far the only dislikes I have is that the bolt does not lock back after the last round is fired. And I am limited to 10 round max magazines. Other than them, nothing else wrong! I still have yet to have a single failure to anything. Unless the mag is empty it keeps going boom every time I've pulled the trigger.

I'd love a 10mm AR platform. Olympic Arms used to make one. At least I think it was Olympic Arms.

But I hear good stuff about the mechtech.

How about a Ruger Mini 10mm? . Or a Marlin Camp Rifle in 10mm that takes Glock mags? :)

If you have a Glock 10mm pistol, they make these Mechtech conversions for them, too.
