I also have one ( and the 22 model) they are wonderful. Nickle Finish so be careful with any cleaning solutions that contain ammonia. Super carry guns and 380 is not something I want be shot with. Lots of great SD ammo options in 380.
I love my little Bersa. I beat the crap out of it and hardly ever clean it and I have yet to have an issue with it. Probably the best $200 I ever spent on a gun, which is embarrassing to say.
Purchased the 9rd mag for it as well. Great buy. Fits 2 extra rounds but doesn't extend too far and still has room for that last finger. I originally was going to go with the 10 round mag they make but did some research and for 3 extra rounds it sticks out too much.
I have one and agree with all said above. One thing, the Thunder 380 is approved for +P ammo but you'll be told there is "no such designation in SAMMI for +P in 380!" Be that as it may, if an ammo manufacturer wants to sell a +P ammo, who am I to say a little higher pressure round is "wrong"? I got some +P ammo for mine and it runs pretty well! Got some Buffalo Bore HardCast lead 100gr that American Rifleman rated for 24" penetration (!!!) which might actually be too much! Who'd a thunk they'd say that about a 380? BB also has some 95gr (I think) HP +P ammo that goes 13" penetration. Not too bad .... I'd also say the rubber replacement grips with the front finger grooves are a good thing, like TFAL says. And, last, I have some ProMags that some have said are trash. But at $19 as opposed to the $35 for Bersa OEM mags I thought I'd try. I've had NO - zero, zilch, nada - problems with my ProMags. They are as good as the Bersa mags so far. So to save some $$$ you might try one, especially for range or non-carry use.
